The Cause
The GSA 200 Club supports the activities at Broadway West which provides Clubhouse and grounds for Cricket, Rugby, Aussie Rules Football, Baseball, Harriers and Ultimate (Frisbee) as well as other associations who use the site.
All funds raised through the Club 200 will be spent directly on the grounds and clubhouse to provide excellent facilities and to invest in sport for all.
The money
Each £5 monthly subscription to the 200 Club results in £3 being spent directly on the facility and allows GSA to invest in improvements to all areas of the site, whilst offering you the opportunity to win one of the two monthly cash prizes –
1st = 70% - 2nd = 30% of the prize money.

Subscriptions to the GSA 200 Club can be paid by :-
(1) Standing Order by filling out attached form
(2) Proof of a Standing order set up on-line on 5th of each month
(3) a payment of a one-off annual fee of £60 by card at the clubhouse
You can take out as many subscriptions as you like.
Bring the application form to the clubhouse and hand in at the bar - a number will be allocated for each £5 entry.
The Rules
CLub 200 Rules
1. The “GSA 200 Club” will be operated under Gambling Commission, Private Lotteries. The promoter will be the Treasurer of Gosforth Sports Association (GSA)
2. The GSA Committee reserves the right to amend the rules of the “GSA 200 Club” from time to time, as may be necessary. A copy of the current rules will be available from the Treasurer and on our website.
3. All profits made by the “GSA 200 Club” will be used to support the running of the Broadway West clubhouse and grounds.
4. The Lottery will be limited to 200 members over the age of 16 years who are members or guests of one the GSA sports clubs.
5. The subscription will be £5 per month, payable by standing order on the 5th of the month (or annually in a single payment of £60, to be made before the 5th working day in May each year). On receipt of a single annual payment or a standing order form the applicant will be allocated a Draw Number and added to the GSA Club 200 Whatsapp group. For each additional £5 paid per month an additional Draw Number will be allocated.
6. A draw will take place every month for cash prizes. Winners of prizes will be notified by WhatsApp, and the results of the draws will be available for inspection on the GSA notice board and on our website.
7. 40% of the total annual subscriptions will be paid out in the form of cash prizes; for this purpose, the Club “year” will run from 1st June to 31st May. Two prizes will be awarded each month.
8. The draws will be conducted by 3 people at the monthly Committee meeting.
9. No “200 Club” participant will be included in the draw if the appropriate subscription has not been received by the 10th working day of the month in which the draw is taking place. The Promoter reserves the right to reallocate any number where payment has not been received on time.
10. Prizes will be paid by bank transfer or cash.
11. In the event of there being less than 200 participants, prizes shall be awarded on a pro rata basis of the actual number of members at the time of the draw.
12. Participants can cancel their entry in the Lottery at any time by giving one month’s written notice to the Promoter (and if paying by Standing Order, they should also advise their bank).
13. Any decision by the Committee to wind up the Club will also be by one month’s written notice.
14. Under no circumstances can any payments be refunded.
